Need to realign priorities

Clean first, then work on things like staining the fence.

I'll talk about your fence after you get rid of the what appears to be moon rocks, pieces of slate, ripped up bushes, and an empty miller lite.

For real. Spend some of that petty cash you have saved and clean up your yard. Is the fence to hide the 'ghetto' from the embarrassed forest beside your house¿?¿

What fruit tree is that?

I seriously want W95 and Sol to live together.

I am in for $500 to get this working. Set up cameras in the house like Big Brother.

Staining your fence was like the automotive equivalent of toothbrush cleaning your entire dash before you remove all the fast food trash from the back seat and floors. Trash is the first step.

I'm also betting you moved the trash away from the fence into the middle in order to stain it. You know you did.

Doesn't your step dad have a truck in the driveway? Fill the bed and make a dump run, will make everything look way better.

How much is dump run there?

$22.50 here in King County for like 350 lbs

Haven't had to pay more, my short box works good for dump run, would like a long box though.

in that case, nice job
I was going to suggest hardscaping the whole thing but you dog probably wouldn't like that.

You need that shed there? Looks like it just takes up your whole back yard. Have you considered demoing it?

Or moving it...I could tell you how to just lift it up and move the whole thing to a part of the yard that isn't in the middle, but that's if it doesn't have a concrete foundation. Actually you could still do it with a foundation just more work.

No tub just go stall shower

if you're set on tub...
Don't go jacuzzi, I use my jacuzzi tub all the time, but not because it has jets, just because it's huge and comfortable. I need about 100 gallons of hot water in there if I want to use the jets. People sometimes forget, including myself, that unlike an outdoor jacuzzi, you have to fill that bitch up every time you want to use the jets. Does anyone think jets feels that good? I mean they don't do much for me, and it was a pain wiring up the electrical which needed a separate 20amp circuit for the pump and the heater.

As for a regular tub, don't go with steel, it's so noisy and just feels cheap. Cast iron would be my first choice, then acrylic. Only downside to cast iron is the weight. 300lb tub is not fun installing. Something like this

Jets make my skin itch. I always used the seats without any jets when we had a hot tub.

are there building codes that require at least 1 bathtub in a house? still considering removing mine even though it might make it harder to sell.

I think most people would almost always use the stand alone shower if you had a choice, but if it was the only choice I think is when you start to realize the value of the tub

Installing a walk-in shower in the master. Would like a tub in the hall for resell, or, God forbid, I ever have a kid (hopefully not ZTwentyH8 style).

Pulled an old cast iron American Standard out of the original bathroom, SOB was hernia inducing to remove. It was in fairly good shape, but was an odd design and the opposite drain I need. I hear cast holds heat the best though, so I should give them #1 priority.

I like that Kohler, but seems a bit shallow. Need to hit up the local plumbing supply co. Do I recall someone raving about Toto Drake toilets? They've got some on sale for $200.

I have never set foot in my bathtub/shower. Wife uses it when she gets home from work late at night or to wash the dogs though. All about that nice standalone shower but yeah, having a house without a bath tub is a major no-no.
