Default Not one, not Twin, But a Twin X Twin X Twin Turbo ( 8 turbos )

I did search because it does look kinda old in the pics. Ls1, 8 turbos, turbos, in GDD

Car with 8 turbos

I'm like WTF? Why the hell do that. Mechanically wouldnt it have a hell of a time spooling up? I know some people have suggested to use Nitrous to try to spool it but WTF? Why not just have quad turbos instead of eight? I think this is a ls1 engine (correct me if I'm wrong).

Intresting none the less...

Total waste of money and poor engineering.

Those 8 are way too small and are not going to push enough to even make the car all that driveable, let alone fast.

lol, that's awesome. If I had a ton of money and multiple cars, I wouldn't mind having an 8 turbo car. No one would ever believe me

(note: in reality I would never do this, so shut the **** up)

Yeah, why? If I had nothing better to do, and extra money comin out of my pockets, I'd do the same thing. Motor probably sounds cool too.

I would like to know more about this... like how they are run together and if they have completed this project? What plans do they have for this car?

I thought that two smaller turbos will spool quicker than one bigger turbo!

Interesting work, nonetheless.

its driveable...its an LS1. without the turboes, its faster than many hondas.
i guess it could be a sequential system. 2 turboes spooling at a time on each cylinder bank.

i love how the noob, potator, tries to act all tough like he's been around a long time. total misconception of HT members.

I have a couple questions. 1) Im not super knowledgible on turbos and what not, but the smaller the turbo, the less lag you get right? So having a bunch of small ones would mean big boost with less lag? or is it the other way around? Please help me out on this one.
and 2) Any idea what kinda engine they are bolting that **** onto?
Edit: ok, guy above me says its an LS1, I guess that answered question #2

It looks like domestic tuners are still not really sure what the right thing to do with turbos is in some cases.
