Default Myspace panic attack

So I know that without pics or vids this thread is fail, but I just thought it was kinda funny so I thought i'd share. I'm working out of my kiosk today instead of the store, and this girl walks up and starts playing with the palm pre demo we have (I work for sprint) and I ask if i can help her because I don't particularly like young teens hanging around the kiosk, and she says no no I'm just playing.

Well all our phones are live, so she opens up the internet and goes into her myspace via the myspace app on the pre. So I told her...

"are you sure that's a good idea?"
"what do you mean?"
"well you went through the app and not on the web, that means you've just loaded your myspace into the phone."
"oh it's ok i'll just log out"
"well sweetheart you're in the app, just logging out still leaves everything there, so now anybody that plays with that phone can get your myspace, you actually loaded your myspace into the phone'

I swear to you, at this point the 15 year old girl started to hyperventilate going...

"huff huff.... oh my.... oh my.... oh my.... oh my god. wha... wha... wha... what am i ..... huff huff.... going to... to.... to... do?"

So I said, "well for one I'd worry less about your myspace, two i'd try not to play on things that aren't toys in the stores... and three, I'd hurry up and make a brand new myspace and delete this one before anybody gets a hold of this phone"

I'm an *** hole, but the girl almost had tears when she ran away. It kinda made my day.

I figured this thread was going to be about someone on myspace asking you where New England was.

Hah. Classic.

Though I used to think New England was in Europe, and Boston was in London. At this point I could probably label 30% of the states in the U.S.

U.S. Edumacation FTW!

It kind of bothers me that there are people out there who don't know the geography of our own country

Hey, I'm not the one that went on a rant about how GDD is full of idiots after laying a gem about how New England has had no contribution to history a couple weeks prior.

I don't recall my exact words but I'm sure they ahve been miscontrued since then.

Anyway, when did i call GDD a bunch of idiots. I mean I'm sure I did, I just can't think of which time you are mentioning.

No, the full quote was taken:

My mistake, you said H-T, not GDD.

Teens in general have no sense of cyber security. You should have told her that she can buy it.
