What video card does it have? If it's intel extreme graphics or whatever that's called, definitely not because you will not eb able to play any games with it.

Well, Intel graphics doesnt exist on AMD motherboards.

What company is it from? I would only buy a name brand laptop. And that seems expensive.

Well you have 2 different computers with 2 different price ranges. What kinda games are you looking to play?

Either way, the celeron will be fine for internet use, no reason to buy an expensive computer for that.

yeah my friend ( who has rich dead g-dads money) just bought a Alienware Laptop.
Its 2 weeks old.

$3900.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RIDICULOUS!! Anyway its a 3.2ghz with 1gb memory, 17" widescreen with that Xbrite coating stuff. The bottom has 5 fans, one fan ALREADY BUZZES! He even went for the $110 backpack to haul it around in. Weighs 12.5 lbs!

I personally think they are wayyyyyyy overpriced and its all a gimmick to make them look like aliens. You could do alot better custom.

* However, a co worker friend just bought a Sony Vaio laptop for $1200 out the door Best Buy. I love it. Its got the reflecive screen, 3.2ghz, 512 memory, built in wireless, everything. Its nice.

because in the end there just more available for a PC.

blah blah I dont want to hear how there processors are tailored for editing programs; because in terms of clock speeds macs realy dont get bragable times.

They have a nice GUI, and good file structure; but they dont have as wide a range of product support as PC and they dont have the expansion capabilities. And this is hurting them in the market.

dont start with that bullshit. "Oh oh, someone made a comment I disagree with! Lets call him ignorant because my opinion is superior to all!"

you're thinking purely in terms of clock speeds. clock speeds aren't everything. look at itanium, alpha, pentium m processors. it's not an adequate measure of performance, and apples do have their strengths in certain areas, it's ignorant to deny that.
