Default Letís talk about gas station fountain drinks

So I stopped at QT, mega huge convenience store for all you non-midwesterners, and I saw this customer cup touching fountain levers. QT allows people to bring in their own cups for discounted fill ups. Think Iím good on fountain drinks for the foreseeable future.

Thing looked like it had years of stains embedded in it.

well the levers touch the side of the cup, not the rim. The soda dispensers are a washable item as well. But soda is terrible for you - worse than the germs you might pick up from other skanky gas-station soda drinkers.

You see the side of the cup? Anywhere the lever touches will be nasty.

I drink unsweet iced tea or lemonade to dump some vodka in to sip on during my soul sucking retro club gig. Still gotta get ice mane.

edit- lime rat poison lacrioux is my favorite carbonated beverage. Mmmmmmm

Midwest? then you must be familiar with the Circle K polar pop? **** is running an invasion in the area i live. its nuts. so many people carrying these stupid half gallon styrofoam cups, sloshing diet coke all around, leaving trash everywhere. if that wasn't bad enough, they have a radio commercial with a SONG. A song! Drives me insane. I cant take anyone seriously that shows up to work with a half gallon styrofoam cup of sugar water every day. I really cant. Either that, or a 2 liter bottle of soda, since ive been spotting those in the recycle bin

That cup is disgusting. I don't usually get fountain sodas, Slurpees on occasion though.

I don't drink soda hardly ever, but I always find it funny that juice is the "healthy" alternative for kids. Do people not realize how much sugar is in juice?

Also, that cup is gross. People have no shame.

Not if you make your own juice at home.

Vitamix ftw.

My wife figured out a way around that. She gets the fruit tea bags and makes cold tea with them. No sugar but the taste isnt bad! Kid doesnt know the diff.

Depends if you're poor or not. To poor people, orange and grape soda = juice = healthy. Rich people understand that unless it's in the form of a $12 smoothie with added protein, it's not healthy.
