Between this and Dave Lombardo leaving I think its time for them to hang it up. Hanneman was the guitar talent of the band, it wouldn't be the same without him.

had he been touring with slayer at all since the spider bite? or did he never recover enough? I saw them at last year's mayhem fest, but between the dozen other bands, being far from stage, and people being lit on fire all around me I didn't even notice if he was up there.

I didn't go to see Slayer specifically but I have been at concerts where they were playing and they always draw the neo ****'s in who get pissed off when Slayer isn't headlining and try to **** up the rest of the show by getting into fights after Slayer's set is over. Some Slayer fans are true pieces of ****

They are unsure if the spider bite was related to the liver failure. He had not toured since he was pulled in 2011.

I've been to more Slayer concerts than I can remember, and I have never seen or had any issues with neo *****. In fact, I can't recall ever seeing more than one or two at any particular show.

They had to go somewhere since the real punk movement didn't want them.
