Some have stated it goes on sale from time to time. I have enough invested in my buffer/pads/compounds already. Granted this kit is much better for tight to fit/reach stuff, but basic bitch panel stuff. I can wait
HexLogic pads are teh suck doe.

Going more for recommendation as a good solid unit. I can always pick up better pads etc. I use a Makita 7" 3000 rpm now. All the pads, wool, 3 stages of polishing etc. Too bulky for more "at home" stuff, also old as fuuggg. time to upgrade.

So I caved today and ordered this kit. I'm impatient. Not waiting for a deal. What are some great products that go in unison? Just the V series they recommend?

I use Meguiars Cutting Compound and Polish (separate products) and they work great. No need to reinvent the wheel, just go with what works.

I use Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover and Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish.

If I'm feeling lazy I'll use Sonax Perfect Finish.

Both brands are great and have done very well for me

Pretty happy with pretty much everything I use from Shine Supply. All of their products work well together.

This was mostly BurnOut with Daddy-O as an LSP. I am beat.

Every time I do a detail I want to buy more stuff lol. This stuff sounds nice. A good inexpensive quick detailer by the gallon, and what sounds like something that behaves a lot like bead maker....

Is burnout a 2 in 1 or did you just do a correction than a protectant?

Burnout is a LSP ready polish. So yeah, went straight from that to sealant. Amazing results for a one step honestly. I did one panel with a straight cutting compound and it had at least as much cut without the dust and cleanup. And it leaves a layer of Si02 so it bonds better with the sealant.

Interesting I'll have to check it out. Im getting tired of using a swirl remover, polish then seal/wax. It takes too much time. I have Sonax PF which is a 2 in 1 and it works well but I don't like how quickly it dusts.

Yeah this **** is dope. If you get it, grab the daddy-o too. They work together as a system.

Will do thanks

Did you use a DA or rotary? What pads did you use for the correction/polish?

Griots 6" HD DA

I pretty much use orange exclusively since its got a good balance of cut/polish. I have blues for heavier cutting and a bunch of super soft reds / black for sealant application. All lake country brand.

Orange flat pads? I mostly use those as well. I didn't realize they polish well too though. I mostly use the red, crimson pads for polish.

Orange seems to universally be a "medium cut/ polishing pad" across all brands. My reds were LC hydrotech pads which according to the product line chart is the 'finesse, wax' pad.

Yea I just figured that if Orange cuts then it wouldnt be that great at polishing and to use a polishing pad. That requires two separate stages of correction......which is a huge pain in my back

I only wax my hand so if I can get away with using an orange pad with a single stage correction/polishing compound then I'd use it.

I'll try out the Sonax PF again with my LC flat orange pads. Thanks for the input
