This is how the GOP is going to maintain the House.

Damn shame when the districts are already gerrymandered to death as it is.

I loved the usual "polling places are broken! it must be the GOP/Republicans"! finger pointing. Especially in southern states where the GOP would WANT all polling places open/working..

These issues happen during every election, stop it with the partisan sensationalism.

The GOP, if it maintains the house, will do so because of the economy and how the Democrats treated BK during his confirmation process.

You realize there are blue areas of red states right? And that there is nothing on the ballot today that goes beyond state level?

The South is Gerrymandered to hell and back, even where it's clear minorities should be able to easily overpower the local GOP they are unable to because they draw line to split those centers and loop in largely rural Caucasian area. Been happening here for years.

That John Oliver piece about the separation was tough to watch. He made some excellent points though.

We're not convincing one another so what is really the point?
It's a forum, it's here for discussion. It's not meant to change people's mind, it's meant for forming arguments and debate. Why do they keep getting closed...just leave them be. It's just dumb to create, close, repeat. Seriously though, what is the point in closing the threads? All the new ones have the same people in them with the same viewpoints.

They get closed when the name calling starts.

Pretty simple.

Except that Tarrant County was 52.4% for Trump....if anything I'd imagine this hurts the GOP more than it helps.

Why are we not addressing the real issue and banning the culprits? Don't let them keep screwing up threads.

First time voting as a PA resident this time around. I'm down in NoVA for work so I had to do absentee. My wife is at home and the line to vote at our local precinct is nuts. People that have lived there for years said it has never been this packed before.
