Default Ft lauderdale/miami, no bugs wtf?

So i was there last weekend, spent a few days in miami and ft lauderdale. My wife and I realized something crazy towards the end of our trip. There was literally zero bugs in both these areas. The only bugs we saw were the occassional dragon fly.

Iíve heard miami beach sprays for misquitos because of zika, but we were in many places other then miami. Itís not just misquitos. Spent a lot of time drinking and eating outside and night and day. There are no bugs at all. Nothing flying around the lights at night, nothing flying into your food, nothing biting you, just nothing. It was the greatest thing ever.

Whatever they are doing over there, its awesome

SoCal is like that too. Florida seems to have lots of bugs. Weird.

So I take it eating al fresco at 7pm in August is a big no-no in some parts of the country?

In Florida, the massive collection of ball sweat will chase you inside long before the skeeters.

Non-SoCal GDD members, if you're ever in the area and I'm not busy, cruise by and we'll eat and drink outside. I'll even call Dipsy.

Butterflies have been passing through SoCal when it's warm and sunny this last week. It was freezing today, 60 degrees, so not many.

I'm waiting for the day nature wipes out humanity, and yes that includes me and my family. The human race deserves the fate it gets. I can't imagine how the eco systems will will look 1000 years from today.
