lol I was about to say no, but I looked through my camera uploads, and in fact, apparently I do occasionally. Seems like only when I get something massive lol.

I do when I made the food and am proud of it, or showing my ex that I am feeding the kid good food. Out at a restaurant, not unless it is honestly something mindblowingly impressive.

Only when it's a pastrami sandwich. Spoiler alert: I eat a lot of pastrami.

Pastrami burgers count (yes, this place has burgers and sushi)

Number 19 at Langer's only. ONLY.

Three of the pics above are Langer's. One is a NorCal Langer's replica, also called the "Number 19."

The one with the pink pickled onions as a garnish is from The Refuge in San Carlos. If you had never had a Langer's #19, it would be amazing. For someone who has had a Langer's #19, it's a passable replica. Of course, you need to realize that Langer's (and the #19) is considered the best pastrami sandwich in the world. It has beaten Katz's (NY) and Schwartz's (Montreal) for that title and even the New Yorker admitted defeat.

https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2.../19/a-sandwich

The hot pastrami sandwich served at Langer's Delicatessen in downtown Los Angeles is the finest hot pastrami sandwich in the world. This is not just my opinion, although most people who know about Langer's will simply say it's the finest hot pastrami sandwich in Los Angeles because they don't dare to claim that something like a hot pastrami sandwich could possibly be the best version of itself in a city where until recently you couldn't get anything resembling a New York bagel, and the only reason you can get one now is that New York bagels have deteriorated.

...
Langer's bakes the loaf the rest of the way, before slicing it hot for sandwiches. The rye bread, faintly sour, perfumed with caraway seeds, lightly dusted with cornmeal, is as good as any rye bread on the planet, and Langer's puts about seven ounces of pastrami on it, the proper proportion of meat to bread. The resulting sandwich, slathered with Gulden's mustard, is an exquisite combination of textures and tastes. It's soft but crispy, tender but chewy, peppery but sour, smoky but tangy. It's a symphony orchestra, different instruments brought together to play one perfect chord. It costs eight-fifty and is, in short, a work of art.
It costs $18.50 today (inflation and all that ), but it's still a work of art.

I dipped a chicken strip in my chocolate milkshake once. Looked like a turd and sent it to like 7 people. Does that count?

They only stay open until 4pm and aren't open on Sundays, so make sure you time it right. Get the #19 and then post a new thread, with pictures .

Cooking is a time for me to unwind, be at one with things. Not take pictures like a 2010 Valley Girl who just started her instagram.

I've done it one time at a restaurant. There is a high end place in town ive got my eye on. I will be tempted to there but i dont facepage so i prolly wont
