It bothers me when people say "invested" when referring to depreciated assets. It's not an investment when you're flushing money down the toilet.

Wasted would be a better word. Lulz.

Does he know it's turning heads because it's like a train wreck?

I wonder what his explanation would be if asked why they spell it "VTEC" right there on the valve cover.

You won't beat Arizona in the CL department though. There's some ******* gems out here.

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/4455655857.html

You want a Civic with a blown engine and "upgraded" with rack and pinion steering? Sure, that'll be $3k

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/cto/4457933069.html

How about a stock '98 LX for $6500?

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/4448472758.html

This one is pretty Boss

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/4449713833.html

How about..."I'll trade you my fucked up B20 for your working one, straight trade?"

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/pts/4410526766.html

How about a $9k Civic with a "board" out ITR motor to 2.3L? Oh, interfooler is included lol

^^^^ AZ craigslist is the "best." I was looking for an Integra. After 2-3 months....nevermind.

The good stuff on AZ CL goes really fast, you have to be like a Ninja to get it, and the trash sits there mocking you for months on end.

Also some people need to understand the concept of sales. True story...I was making normal inquires about an Integra for sale on CL. He end up almost yelling at me.

I was going down the line with normal questions about the car, Hondas, and Integra specifics.

It ended with...."what did I say...the car is perfect...need nothing..." Ok, thank you, next....

Really thou...I'm handing you money. You got a nice car. So tell me about it... If he wants to justify his price, make some effort too (in selling me the car, brag, say something that makes me want it.).

500 dollar gutter mesh? I have a fortune invested in rare parts in my third generation, but I have no intention of ever selling it, personal reasons, if it was a car I was going to sell, I would lose my shirt lol. I had a 98 civic 4 door, all the body work done properly with metal work, ready for primer and paint, engine had new timing belt, water pump, battery, all kinds of stuff, ran great, but the dam automatic went, I couldn't even get a grand for it, sat on craigslist for months, got tired of screwing with it and took what I could get

Sure you can find better there, but you have to pay what some of those clowns are asking... More than $3K for an all original Civic is asking too much. If it has a swap the priced typically goes in the wrong direction in the marketplace, as in up...

Yes and he continues to do so. Poor child all she wants is a new pair of shoes. But instead the prelude gets all the love.
