prices are good, but i would rather build my own. its soo ******* easy it's not even funny. i bought the parts for my computer and just hooked it up together. pieces only go in certain places. a videocard that goes in an AGP slot, will only go in an agp slot. eide cables will only work with cdroms and hard drives. power cable from the power suppy will only plug into one slot on the mother board. processor only goes in one way because of the pins. it's easy. there are also websites about them.

what you need is

case(sometimes they come with power supplies, sometimes they dont)
power supply if it dosent
memory
hard drive
motherboard
videocard
some soudncards are onboard and work.
cd rom
floppy drive if u want, but they are rarely used.
processor(if you get a retail and not oem, they come with a heatsink and fan. if you get oem, they will not include heatsink and fan.

prices are pretty good, just for ***** and giggles i spec'd the athlon 64 on the far left out with a 6600gt for $624. components are pretty good too, msi nf4 board right off the bat.

buying the parts seperately would work out something like the following if you buy from newegg:

case + 420W PS - $60
MSI K8N NEO4-F nForce4 - $86
amd 64 3000+ - $146
512mb Corsair ValueSelect - $45
Seagate Barracuda 80GB (not sure if they're using the same one) - $65
Leadtek 6600GT - $155
DVD-RW (they only had a DVD/CDRW) - $50
800W (really?) PMP0 Speakers - $30
6in1 media reader - $15
Keyboard and mouse - $20?

Grand Total: $672

Granted i added a few things to my system that jacked the price up, but it's still pretty much spec to spec, and it's safe to say that they got some better connections than the average pc builder. take labor into account and these are some pretty badass deals

(yes i'm bored)

i'd still rather roll my own though
