I work in the investment industry, so stories like this aren't too far fetched. There are tons of guys I work with that bought in low price points that are up 1000% on some of their investments.
Barely anyone was buying bitcoin back then, but I had a friend suggest it to me back then, so some people knew about it.

To throw in a couple grand long term wouldn't be the worst idea, in case it picks back up at least you lock in a low price point. Like I said, someone on my floor made a mil from BTC investing at the right time. I think he got in at 13$?
I'll do this when it goes into the cents price points. I gave up predicting a low. I hope I get my money back in the future.

I find it odd that the price will dip and stop for a couple weeks, in between that time it rises. Soon as you buy into the sham it dips more. FOH!

Slomo was right all along.

I just had a guy who wants to invest his money. Said he was getting 6 mil wired into his account, from a foreign currency exchange on Iraqi Dinar...... Scammers are out this year.

I have to call this guy back to tell him passively that he's getting scammed.

People made money, hell I made money. The problem was some people got greedy and spread the HODL and to the MOON propaganda around and got burned,

I looked at my coinbase account and my portfolio peeked at $9,xxxx.xx. Now I have $8xx.xx

Bought 5 litecoins for under $25 a pop about 2 months ago. Current value is $48. You guys think this **** will go over $100 a piece anytime in the next six months?

Was really, really tempted to buy LTC around $20 .... but couldn't pull the trigger. Up 150% over the last two months.

I see it going back up. Don't really have anything to base that off of, I just don't see crypto being dead yet. Even if it ends up being the most worthless thing ever and the biggest scam, I feel this thing could irrationally take off again like wildfire. Some good news and a few good days is all that's needed for this thing to run again.

I'm probably biased and delusional though as I've still yet to sell anything but we'll see.

Yea, it hurts to lose a good amount of money (if you sold). I look at the YTD chart on my coinbase portfolio and I realize I could of used that money for closing cost a nicer car etc.

Some people predict once bitcoin is halved again it's price will skyrocket, we shall see

Bitcoin is going back up. It'd be back at $100 if it was going to tank. Too many big names are invested now. It's only a matter of time before the next big pump.

Go through this thread.... it was "dead" and $100 per bitcoin right before it shot up to 20K apiece. This is the time to buy actually.

I wouldnt necessairly say that but if you are able to leverage or borrow money to speculate this is an awesome day trading tool.

Agreed. Even if pure manipulation, I think it'll go back up.

There'll be a lot of headwind with so many shaky hands and bag holders, but I don't think it'll take much to set off the next chain events.

For those who have been sitting on the sidelines, I think a re-entry may be in order soon. LTC is +100% in the last 3 months.

I started my crypto trading with $8.00, I cashed out over $20,000. This time around I started with $125 in December and I'm up to $300 with zero trades since then. As soon as it hits $500, I'll start day trading. I don't think it'll see the gains it did last time around, but I've set a goal of $5000 before I exit the market again and I hope I get there.
