No.

Reston, Herndon, McLean, Vienna are all big places with all kinds of neighborhoods.

Just perform your due diligence and shop intelligently, and be prepared to accept cultural diversity.

My biggest problem has nothing to do with diversity and more to do with outrageous prices of decent real estate.

You can can buy two homes in the country for what one would cost around Tyson’s.

Even in the country it is still culturally diverse. White, black, Hispanic, Asian.

Things are just cheaper. :-)

I think this is the first time Iíve seen regions being mentioned, which is absolutely correct when discussing cuisines that are hyper regional, such as Mexican or Italian food.

My only prejudice is that I've just been stuffed to the gills with everything Hispanic for such a long time, now. I'm just done with it unless it's something unusual or really very good.

It doesn't help things that I cannot stand the taste of coriander in Hispanic dishes. Something to do with black magic happens when you call coriander "cilantro."

Ick.

I like fajitas when the vegetables are slightly undercooked so that they are still crunchy. :-)

I also like fajitas with more than just green pepper and onion in the vegetables.

I’ve been to Mexico a few times, along the the west coast and as far south as the Ensenada area. Which is to say I’ve barely scratched the surface.

The food in general is very good and very fresh, especially the sea food.

Enrique of Pujol has a nice restaurant in Mexico City and I would like to visit one day.

This creation of this will absolutely knock one item off of my bucket list and it will be quite magical to be able to watch a burrito float around like a small tugboat while I relax between bites and keep cozy.

Tell them you want it to go and use the aluminum lid as the ship's hull. Floating deliciousness.

It's not "bad" but if you look close you will see them there too.

Once I was walking the dog on the Reston trails, and I saw some graffiti on one of the trees, someone had written "X3" in blue. Went home to Google it and "X3" = 13. I actually called the county and they sent an officer out to look. They cleaned up the markings but I do remember seeing a lot of 20-40-year-old Latino dudes huddled on the basketball courts a few times, with no basketballs in sight.

Rose on 123 is also really good. IMO it's a little better.

What's more likely to be found is MS13 in bigfoot territory. Although people who stumble into that situation usually don't live to tell the tale.

"Tex"-Mex bruh, Mexicans aren't making Tex-Mex.

Freebirds > Chipotle...

Cabo Bobs > Freebirds...

Can't remember the last time I had Chipotle but it was definitely before all the headline stories about ecoli and such.
