Default Childish

So, I'm 27. Been married for 8.5 years, 2 wonderful little girls, been to war, all-in-all I would consider myself a "man". But I often find myself doing things that if viewed from the outside, would seem rather childish, but **** it, it's fun

Perfect example. I work nights on the 3rd floor of my office building. The only way into the building is taking the main entrance and using the elevator (prefer the stairs) but when I leave my workspace to head downstairs, I'll take the stairwell. For one, it's quicker. But as a plus, I can "ride the rails" to get down in half the time It was fun when I was a kid, it's still fun as an adult, but to have (for the sake of argument) my boss catch me doing such a thing, might not reflect well on his/her overall perception of me.

So what kind of "childish" things do you still find pleasure in now that your all grown up?

I always buy those nestle crunch or butterfinger ice creams at gas stations and eat them in the car on my way home from work.

I'm 26 at the end of this month

I still eat Froot Loops, play video games, watch cartoons occasionally, jump in puddles when it rains, laugh like an idiot when someone says "pull my finger", and play in the snow.

Can't be a grown-up all the time

I draw dicks on everything. Walk out to a parking lot on a cold night with fogged over windows? Dicks on every car that's in line to the path to my car.

Always play in the snow. Always.

Story time:

Couple years ago my friend and I went to the beer store down the street from his house one evening. It was dark outside and it was a chilly night so his windows were fogged but he didn't wipe them off since it was a short drive. We go in, pay for the beer, and walk back out to his car. We see someone on the driver's side door kind of huddled over and we think someone is trying to break into his car. He starts yelling at them to get the **** away from his car and the person takes off running. We run over to his car and see the guy was drawing dicks all over his car windows and on his hood as well. Laughed our asses off for a good 5 minutes after we saw nothing was broken on the car.

its good to know people still take time out of their busy schedule to draw a plethora of dicks on other peoples cars.

I'm 33. Not married. No kids. Swag. If I see a cool toy, I'll buy it. A cool Transformer. A radio controlled flying saucer. Voltron. Hot Wheels. Whatevs. Also, I say whatevs.

I'll skate every now and then. Practice my backside 360 kickflip. Land 2/100 tries.

I ride fixed gear, which is something alot of 15-18 year olds do I guess. Totes keeps me in shape.

I like to jump up and slap things. Race people down stair ways.

I shuffle, which is the modern interpretation of the running man.

Sick.

More of a Drumstick guy myself, but definitely feel ya on this one.

As for drawing dicks, are they the simple cartoonish looking wieners or the massively detailed veiny *****?

That answer depends greatly on who you ask.

99% of my behaviour can be classified as childish, especially being contrarian for the sake of it (not in the hipster sense)

Gadgets. Video-games. Playing jokes on people. I too still slide down rails if I get a chance, when taking stairs and no-one around. Annoying my co-worker, like gluing his mug to the desk or smearing his mouse with vasoline. Getting excited about new comic book films. Random moon-walking and sometimes just talking complete and utter rubbish because I feel like it. Flicking elastic bands at people. All stuff some people would no doubt find 'childish'. I'm 34 next month ............ eeeeeeek!

Absolutely nothing wrong with being young at heart, it would greatly annoy me if I hit 50 and turned into a grumpy old man with no sense of fun.

When my girlfriend and I are at Target, or a home store and we're going down a pillow aisle, or an aisle where they have lots of soft things. I'll pick one up and just throw at her. She wanted me to buy some bread from the store (the kind they bake in the bakery), I left it on her pillow on our bed.

I just do small practical jokes on people, I like to laugh.

I'm 29 and still "immature" to what some people will say.

I play video games, watch cartoons, collect transformers and shoes, skateboard. I'll play practical jokes on coworkers and friends. I'm also a kid when it comes to food, eat cereal, love sweets (cupcakes, ice cream and cookies). I get everything plain in food, chicken and rice about 90% of the time.

I was the first person to bring nerf guns into the office and since then, a war has broken out.

Another thing is, I love video games. I will also randomly say lines from units in Starcraft 2..

"Get some!!"
"First rounds on me!"
"The enemy closes!"

etc

I would say I'm a dork in some fashions and can be pretty goofy/immature at times.

<--- Raises hand. All of the above.

Also - I'm 32, married with a 1-year-old. I still own, mod, and DD two old-*** rattletrap cars. I still play guitar and sing in a band. I still tell the most tasteless dead baby jokes around. I love to climb... trees, walls, fences, whatever. I'm still far too emotionally tied to the success of the Cardinals.

I also still read kids' books occasionally. Roald Dahl is my favorite.
