Most all lawyers, ibankers, and mortgage people I know do coke. EVERYONE smokes weed and drink. Yet smoke cigarettes and you’re seen as a felon lol. **** outta here. Even when I don’t smoke, I see anti smoking laws as discriminatory. Can’t smoke in the open? Even when no one is around? Dafuq??

I doubt I'd be surprised; I have a very sensitive nose and have discovered over the years, even if someone hasn't smoked herb in many hours and even had a shower in the meantime, their body scent changes to the point where I can identify it.

drug testing at work is about insurance coverage - not work performance.
its so company XYZ can get lower insurance rates because their testing ensure they have "a drug free workplace"

At my previous employment, which didnít random, but was federally contracted so had a drug free employment clause Iíd say 50% of the 800 employees partook in some sort of drugs. Especially in this state where weed isnít taboo at all, a LOT of people do it. Just might not talk about it.

Most places drug test for hiring and thats it. Donít ask donít tell until itís legalized federally.

I've only had one job that randomly drug tested and that was when I was running a CNC line for the Koreans. I'd guess that at least 80% of the people there did some kind of illegal drug habitually. They would randomly test every 45 days or so, but I never once got called for a test. And neither did any of the other people who did their jobs properly. They may have called it random, but I believe they had people they wanted out of there each time before they scheduled the test. You knew it was testing day because the guy or gal would be set up outside the bathroom with their folding table and chairs. Then you'd see fools scatter trying to buy **** from someone else. A lot of guys there were still on paper so they were clean. They'd **** into a latex (or nitrile whatever) glove and sell it for $20 - $50.

Also, I have been surprised at all the active duty military folks I know that smoke weed. Especially all the 11X guys I know. One of them told me that their CO would give them a few days notice before each random test. A few of them I've met have even been wrapped up in meth and their COs were very understanding and helped them through it. I do know that the women around here can ruin some of those kids.

I suppose that is one perspective; the company I currently work for makes no such attestations, however, they do drug testing for all new-hires and random testing for everybody else. It is all about quality of work; the company cannot afford sloppy errors, or negative press.

Life is about perspective. And all things are relative by comparison.

No judgment made, just a statement of fact; most folks have a change in their body scent when they smoke pot which lasts at least 24 hours. The change may be subtle enough for most folks not to notice, however, it registers on my nose.

You should sell your services to the police. You're wasting your super power.

Yeah that's the first I've ever heard of that. You should patent your nose.

Geez, my mom and one of my brothers are even more sensitive; I could have eaten garlic last week and they'd still smell it.

Border agent smelled wine on us cause the girls had polished off a bottle that morning before we left for Whistler. That was pretty impressive.

I know it smells after smoking, but I've never heard of someone smelling like herb days after they have smoked. Especially if they have showered and changed clothes.
