Default 405lb back squat

This isn't a pr, but it's probably the easiest best looking rep above 400 I've gotten. Should have 425-435 in me next time I try for a pr. Wearing Russian knee wraps from hookgrip which essentially feel like ace bandages...they're more durable and come in different colors.

Reebok lifter plus, half inch heal. Have several heals with 3/4 inch and I struggle to keep my chest up...ie it's like a squat morning.

Nice job. Looks like you switched to low bar.

Yes, switched to low bar and feel like I'm finally starting to feel comfortable with it.

Nice lift! I don't know how you went from high bar to low though, once I got comfortable with the bar being well supported by my traps, anything lower feels like it wants to roll back.

How long did that transition take you?

Its taken about 6 months...but I can't imagine going back to a high bar squat outside of lighter accessory work. A few weeks ago I worked up to 355-365 with high bar...if I really bounced out of the hole could get a 405 high bar squat I think.
