Default 2020 Tesla Roadster

WOW!!!! 8.9 1/4 mile time right off the lot
0-60 in 1.9 (is that a 1.0 60'?)

Tesla Reveals Next-Gen Roadster With a 1.9-Second 0-60 MPH Time - The Drive

"The car produces an unheard of 7,375 lb-ft of torque (10,000 nm), which Musk claims allows it to pull all the way to 250 mph, though he wouldn't reveal the actual top speed."

You'll only have your speedometer to know how fast you're going.

Who gives a **** what it looks like

It could literally be a wax model of a turd and it’d still be awesome. The performance per dollar ratio is just off the ******* charts

They cant even get the model 3 out and people think we will see this car? Yea, MAYBE in like 2023 after delays, and MAYBE if the company is still even around financially.

Glad to see another roadster coming out.

Electric motors with their instant torque out perform standard fuel combustion every day of the week. I believe it's one reason the new NSX is a hybrid and not straight combustion engine only car like days of the past.

Each have pros and cons and Tesla is an interesting technology, was sad they only had the one "performance" vehicle they stopped making. Will be nice to see some new performance vehicles out there at some point.

I'm not on the Tesla bandwagon and have a few questions regarding their business model but yeah this. If these numbers are remotely true and yet you're talking about styling then please just leave as you clearly don't get it lol. It's not about this particular Tesla per say. It is about the idea that a realistic production car that isn't a million+ dollars could potentially have this type of performance.

It's like watching a Saturn V launch and saying it's "meh" because you didn't like the color white they went with on the paint job.

Space is cool because exploration. Because hope, expansion of what was previously possible, etc. Space the final frontier. Our continuing mission to explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before.

A faster car doesn't give me/humanity the ability to exceed previous limits. Unless it can go transwarp.

Thus why it looking meh (From the front, rear is money if very Cayman adjacent) is lame.

That does look sick and I'm also happy to see they didn't use a lotus elise chassis like every company ever when attempting to build their own sports car. I believe the performance, especially given electric motors' inherent strengths. I still wish a company would make a manual electric car, it's possible, though not entirely necessary, but then again that's the definition of an electric car. I do wonder how many donuts one could put on the turn signal stalks though and still be able to use it correctly.

Tesla doesn't really care what you think since you will never be able to afford one. Maybe Honda can make the Fit come standard with a cat seat for trolls like you.

Still mad about the Trump thread lil guy? Its okay, papa Elon Trump will bluster his way to making it all better while meeting none of the deadlines he gives & failing to build anything that would ever meet even FCA's quality standards.
