Default 0wned pics in the news...

Safari park visitors on Sept. 24 in Chongqing, China, get what they paid for: A lion goes for his prey. An increasing number of safari parks across China, boasting various wild animals like lions, tigers and bears, are preying on people's bloodlust with live animal feeding as a way to make money.

San Francisco Giants' Reggie Sanders dives for a third-inning double by Los Angeles Dodgers' Mark Grudzielanek Sept. 19 in Los Angeles. Grudzielanek scored later in the game, helping the Dodgers to a 6-3 win.

Not really, it's natural. Same thing happens in the wild all the time, this is just visible to the public. Now unnatural animal abuse on the other hand... don't even get me started

Yes, I agree on the natural part of it but this is staged. What I was implying was the fact that people pay to watch it. It's not like a boxing match where 99% of the time people don't die. This is ridiculous. It's like the old Roman days with Gladiators and animals fighting one another to the death for amusment.

What if it was in the wild and people paid to see it? Much like photograpers are paid for their footage of lions hunting for the Discovery Channel.

how is that any different for the cow then when people kill them so we (humans) can eat them. Yeah, I know vegetarians don't eat em, but the rest of us do. Seems like it would be fun to watch a lion kill a cow

That's fine. At least it's in the wild and not staged. That's truly a natural event. I would pay to watch a lion eat a car thief though.

Hey, I go see it. Too bad we don't have those Bear vs Lion vs Wolf events. That would rock!

i've actually seen it. Its not all that bad. These animals aren't domesticated. they are wild beasts and feeding them hunks of killed meat doesn't protect their nature. I think this is more a natural way to feed them.

IT's sorta natural. I've never seen a lion chasing a cow in the Serengeti...
