Well, we can now see how losing a guy like Oladipo affects a team. Being able to keep up their momentum and making the playoffs is one thing, but being able to take out a loaded C's team in a 7-game series is obviously quite another.

I'm not a Bucks fan....but Khris & Giannis better eliminate the C's.

The Celtics fan in me kinda wants this, so that Kyrie's exit can come ASAP. GTFO.

"Khris and Giannis", do you actually think Middleton is the better player? Because that's not alphabetical order

Khris is a cooler name than Giannis.

The C's wouldn't have won this series without Kyrie.

Itís true. I flipped on Rossí side out of frustration at the end of the season. But without Irving the Celtics are the Nets.

This next series is going to be awesome. Iím trying to pull my fan biases aside and tell myself that itís all about beating GSW, not ECF appearances. If itís BOS, MIL or TOR that get there... They are all battle tested to have a shot. But hate it or not, Boston matches up against GSW very well.

Other than the Sixers, all of the remaining Eastern teams do (barring huge collapses).

They'll all still lose, but they can least make it look good.

Man, if Markelle's shot hadn't gone away/his shoulder not imploded.....he would be THE difference in all of this. Their matchup struggles against guard dominant teams would no longer exist with his size/speed/wingspan. He could be the initiator on offense with shooting, etc. Such a bummer about his issues.

Here's hoping he can work it out in Orlando. That team would be super fun with him in place of DJ Augustin.

I actually like Simmons running point although he's not the prototypical PG. I'm not sure how useful he'd be in the half court playing off-ball outside of catching lobs. Either way, it's still tragic that Fultz hasn't amounted to anything... There's still two contract years left to prove that, ORL will be a much better spot to do so.

I like Simmons at point too, though I'd like it a lot more on a team more focused on his individual talents, he/Embiid/Butler have a lot of overlap in problematic ways. My issue with him at point right now is mostly that he (and everyone else on the roster) struggle with small/quick point guards.

I actually think the Nets are pretty good so it wasn't an insult. They'd be a team with all sorts of talent but lacking a proven closer. For how much I shat on Irving in the regular season, he's been fantastic in the playoffs so far. Even his body language is much improved, he's getting everybody involved and minimizing the 4Q ISO hogging to only when it's absolutely necessary... It also helps that Tatum, Brown and Hayward have been shooting fairly well.

If nothing else, we need he gravitational pull that Kyrie demands for the double teams to kick out to wide open shooters (we saw tons of this in the Indiana series)

Agreed. You don't need a guy like Kyrie for the regular season.

But for the playoffs? That's where a guy like him is worth his weight in gold.

Until you play a really good team and he is exposed defensively.

We're not going to understand how much Kyrie is hurting this squad until a few years down the road.

The same can be said for Dame, for Steph, for etc.

Kyrie's offensive upside is well worth his defensive struggles.

Kyrie's advanced numbers for the regular season through his career:

His advanced numbers in the playoffs.

Yeah man, he's WELL worth all the pain he causes in other areas.

Are you trying to prove that Kyrie is better in the Playoffs?

I'm saying his value is not undermined in the playoffs.

A dude with that offensive upside is not rendered obsolete by being picked on.

He's not Ryan Anderson out there, he holds up better than Steph defensively and Steph has three rings.
