Made a meat sauce with a jar of some locally grown San Marzano tomatoes. I could have literally drank this stuff right out of the jar it was so good. Not sure what she did with it other than stuck a basil leaf in but I need to get more to respect this sauce more and make something nicer. Can't wait to eat this tonight.

I cooked this down for about two hours so it's nice and thick now

Beaver I think I would have gone to that bakery every morning. Everything there looks so good. What are those things on a long stick left side of the pic?

Next time I will respect the tomato more and make a simple tomato sauce.

Baked some bread for one of my dog sitters

Jellyfish soup

Fresh sea urchin. grilled with green onions and peanuts

eggs with beef stew on top for breakfast

I'd love to go to Vietnam just for the food!

Had some black garlic oil ramen on the weekend. So silky smooth

Ground up some short rib, flank steak and sirloin to BBQ some burgers. Love that I can get the charcoal going again

I'll be honest tho, some of that viet food I don't think I would eat. I might try it but some of it I don't think I'd enjoy. I also studied over in China/Hong Kong so had been exposed to some but I'm still a midwest goober
