Can't even make it past the first page of the new thread, despite the warning right there in the OP. I normally wouldn't sanction someone for a post like this, but since you've already had two long vacations for this issue, I guess we will see if a 3 month vacation will produce results before making it permanent. I will never understand why some people insist on stomping their feet when they know they are walking on thin ice.

Wyoming has a population of 576,000 and has 3 congress members. Coupled with the EC and the system is completely tilted in favor or less populated states that contain more rural areas."

My opinion is that there is a LOT of rules in place that give an unfair advantage to rural, less populated states. Thoughts?
Make a new thread for it then

Btw folks, this only gets enforced this way in the official politics thread, so no need to report name calling in places like the shitposting threads. It wouldn't be GDD if we couldn't call each other idiots in debates about things like bench racing cars we will never be in the market for.

You need to adjust your settings to reduce the amount of "next page" clicks. I'm still on page 1.

Nah, this is right place for it. This ties together to Todd saying one small group in the country shouldn't get preferential treatment.

However, he claims urban people are trying to get that special treatment, the reality is rural people already do. The playing field is already deeply inequal, giving more influence to cities is the only way to equalize things at all.

Do they though?

Nothing to do with the EC, but I know in Maryland if some part of the state gets funding for a project that's not in Baltimore City, then you have a lot of outcry from city legislature how that money could have been used for (insert shitty City issue).

So people are complaining about not getting their way? That doesn't say they have outsized power at all.
