That aero camo ar is sick. I was looking at those but 500-600$ for it seemed steep. I paid less for my F1 AR upper lower.

Just ordered a IWI Jericho full size. Can't wait to have another CZish style gun to play with and mod.

It`s one of their best builder sets color wise. Wish the picatinny ran all the way on those atlas handguards though
:O Grats man.

I have that same handguard. You got a good price on it.

Looks good.

Thx! I got it from Optics Planet. It’s much better than I had expected. The machining is great. And the barrel nut was so easy since it didn’t require indexing. But I had to buy a 1-1/8” crows foot to get a torque wrench on it. Luckily it was like $8 on Amazon. They said the 15” weighs 11.1oz but it actually weighs 12.57oz. Can’t complain for $56 lol.

Romeo 6 arrived today and I am thoroughly unimpressed. For an MSRP of $449.99, the dot is not crisp at all and there's a ghost dot where you can see the reflection of the projector in the objective lens. The see through flip caps are nice until you touch them in which case they attract fingerprints like a magnet, no biggie though since they're just caps, but the unit does suck pretty hardcore. There's supposed to be four reticles of which I can only get three to work.

Reticle 1: Blurry 2 MOA dot.

Reticle 2: Eotech reticle with 2 MOA dot inside a 65 MOA circle. It's so blurry that you can't make out the dot from the circle.

Reticle 3: Eotech ballistic reticle. 65 MOA circle with three small BDC dots in center. The three dots are smaller than 2 MOA so you can make them out, but it's still blurry AF.

Reticle 4: Supposed to be a three dot ballistic reticle (same as #3 without the circle). I can't complain about this reticle since I can't get it to work, but I'm pretty confident that it's probably ****.

Then battery tray looks just like the tray in the Romeo 3, kinda like a SIM card tray, but this one has two torx screws and a gasket to keep dust & moisture out. It's kind of a nice feature.

The turrets are capped and just like on aimpoints, the caps serve double duty as turret adjustment tools, but only one cap works as a tool.

The mount kinda sucks as well. There's two male picatinny slots in the mount to hold it into pic rails but they're a wee bit too wide and require wiggling to get them into some receivers. I tried Colt, DPMS, and Rock River uppers with similar results, but the mount fit perfectly in Noveske and Stag Arms uppers but I'm pretty sure those two companies source receivers from the same place.

I have not test fired and I'm not sure if I will because I'm thinking about selling it.

I had high hopes going in because I'm turning into a full on Sig bandwagoner, but this thing appears to be a piece of ****.

Oh, for ****'s safe, right after I made that post I went outside to see if I could get the fourth reticle to work, then all of a sudden the dots got much clearer and the ghosting went away. Inside the house the ghosting comes back but dots are still crisp. I don't know wtf happened with the earlier blurriness.

Ha! Yeah, the non-indexing nut was pretty neat - I've seen that before. I did not have a crows foot either, but I had a socket I never used, a Crescent wrench, a grinder, and a welder. I was having more fun than anything. Do you know how hard it is to weld chrome vanadium?

I saw some guy on YouTube that welded an adjustable wrench to a 1/2Ē socket. Thatís pretty ingenious.

so with almost a month passing by since CA’s one week of mag freedom, i wonder what kind of stats can be shown showing any increase in gun violence using magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds. especially since they made it seem like it was irreparable damage with the newly legally purchased standard capacity magazines.

You ever get involved in a gun control debate and realize that the anti’s are the only ones that get aggressive? Like, no wonder you don’t want people to own guns, because y’all are crazy.

We've got some pretty sketchy people on our side too though. I mean, if I had no skin in the game and was about to pick a side, I think I'd choose the other side from just ten minutes of listening to any doomsday prepper, tactical gun enthusiast, or Alex Jones talking.

Only once. Even then it was pretty civil,. we simply agreed to disagree. But even they conceded to a couple of my points.

None had ever been involved in an incident, or lived in a violent part of the world

Ever since I moved to CA my guns have been sitting back on the East Coast at my parents'. Decided to bring a few back this trip...first time flying with firearms. Relatively smooth process, took maybe 5 minutes for the guy to open my cases and swab everything. Decided to leave the 10+ round mags back home because I didn't know whether TSA would care about CA laws.

Anyone know if this 1-week repeal only applies to those who purchased the mags during that timeframe? I'd love to bring the factory 17 round mags and BX25's back next time I go home if possible, but from what I understand it's likely illegal again?

You can’t import mags now but there’s no law for possessing mags that you acquired legally.
