Every car thread the ///M cars and those alike get brought up. So here's a dedicated thread for BS, news, purchases, plans, pics, whatever regarding anything BMW related. Hell even comparisons.

Would totally consider the new M3/4. I'm not sure they're at dealers yet, are they? The ones I went to didn't have any and I didn't feel like talking to a salesman to ask about them.

Would also consider pre-owned X5/6M.

Sad I sold this:

Versatile too.

Can someone please identify, with pictures, which BMW correlates to E34534 compared to E1346342.

Thanks,

Swapped them for OEM 19s before I sold it. Sold the wheels to some weirdo kid in a Infiniti G35 coupe who insisted he wanted them.

Note these wheels are a different bolt pattern and won't fit. He insisted he would redrill them for his car. I told him I wouldn't recommend it, but when he handed over $3200 or so in cash, I was like "let me load them in your car for you."

He texted me a few days later angry because he thought I lied about the bolt pattern and they don't fit BMWs when my ad showed pictures with them mounted on my car haha.

Haha cool. Do we know real world performance of this new M vs. the old E9X model? Faster? Would seriously consider if it was a quicker car. I think I saw a brand new price of like $60something thousand and that's not bad.

M3 was always the more performance drive between it and the M5. M5 has probably more power but it was a saloon sports car. The M3 was just a pure race machine!

Why? He likes the way they look.

Thanks, now you got me looking at YouTube reviews/videos/races with the new M4.

Looks pretty damn good. Basically keeping up with a C6 Z06 on a 2nd gear roll. Beats most of the cars (Audi RS5/911 base Carrera/C63) on a track.

3.9 seconds to 60 for the E90 and F80 in DCT trims. One on paper, the other real world.
Not bad...$80 is a bit much I think. Wouldn't need carbon brakes, but would like navigation and all that techy stuff.

Would like to do Euro delivery and that individual color option too. That would be hot.

Inb4 $90K.

EDIT: Laguna Seca M4. :: drool::

EDIT AGAIN: Oh, you already posted this in the OP.

$87,500 optioned the way I want for the convertible.

$80,800 for the coupe.

Wow, that gets up there. I don't think it's listed, but it used to be $5K or $7K for the individual color, and another few thousand for Euro delivery. But I think if you do all that, you get some discounts.

Horsepower is meaningless to him as well doe. He had a 4th gen Prelude that went 10.2 in the 1/4 back in the mid 90s.

Interesting to see what remains important as you get older.

That damn rear bumper needs to be fixed and the coupe needs wider rear fenders.

I think the e46 shouldn't be x'ed not because of the way it looks but it was damn fun to drive... I drove both m3 prior to the e46 also...

Would love the m4 in Laguna Seca Blue... sex on wheels pretty much... I would be fapping pretty hard if it was parked in my driveway!

Rumors are the same N55 engine as the M235i, but tuned for about 40 more hp.
