It already comes with a 3.4. #051-400 $90 shipped That is the smallest they have.

I know this thread is old, but does the OP or anybody else know of a reliable source for new or used complete b16 kits other than scouring eBay and forum classifieds, thanks so much in advance.

These kits have been discontinued for a few years now, I looked everywhere for a new kit last year and was unable to find one.
As for Ebay and Craiglist, be cautious about what you are buying. Alot of kits I have seen for sale people are claiming they are complete, but are far from it. Most parts can be purchased from Mossmotors but they can be expensive. Do your research and be patient, It took me a few months but I finally found one for sale locally.
