Zex kit and Turbo?!?!
Just bought me a Zex kit for dirt cheap and wanna throw it on my next motor. a built SOHC.
has anybody sprayed a Zex kit on their turbo. if so what fuel managment where you using. I've had a zex in the past, but that was on a na JDM GSR, so i know how they work with the whole NMU etc.
im gonna try and run uberdata on the next one, we will have to see how well it fairs with some 720's. and i know i cant have any n2o controls with it, but i can with hondata or aem. im may end up going with aem later down the line. so should i have gone with an n2o kit with just a big selenoid instead of the NMU, i'd rather not have to hack up the zex kit too badly
THanks

you need to use a wet kit.especially if you have a rising rate fuel pressure regulator.if you try and use a dry kit,you will probably have to jack the pressure so high it won't give you a proper mixture.

Re: (ek9psi)
thanks for the replies. but that's not what i like to hear.
i was thinking of spraying a small shot (25) right before the intercooler. What if i used it to spool the turbo down low? its gonna be on a built z6. i want atleast 400whp and would like to hit 11's, maaaaaybe 10's in the future. its gonna go in the car in my sig, cause the guys loan fell through; sucks. but i can sell my bseries swap for the cost of this, so why not.
I am also leaning towards a big t3/t04e or sc61?!?! Dont really care how long it takes to spool cause the head will go to 9k.
any more advise or suggestions

I would not use a ZEX dry kit for what you are doing, but a ZEX wet kit will work very well. I use a two stage ZEX system on my D16Z6 turboed race car, 125hp first stage and a 120 hp second stage. I use a FAST efi system. Nitrous and boost were meant for each other

I think you'd be set with a wet kit. I dont think a dry kit and a FMU would work properly together. EDIT: After reading your sig, do you have uberdata? Does it have any sort of nitrous controls? Hondata does where hondata will turn on your nitrous and adjust the injectors accordingly.
