Zeitronix ZT2 w/ gm 3bar
Would I be able to use the GM 3BAR map sensor with the Zeitronix datalogging?
I searched but couldn't find anything except for one person that said it can be done, but when I wired it up the reading is way off...my boost gauge reads -19 while the Zeitronix datalog on my laptop reads -25.5 and when its in boost its off by atleast 5+psi.
This is how I have my wiring:
Zeitronix:
Brown (Ground) -D21
Yellow (+5V) -D19
Orange (Map pressure) -D17

There's a big thing on the Innovate forums regarding not just their widebands, but the SSI-4/etc that datalog sensors. In short, it says not to use the chassis as your ground, but to use the engine block as ground.

So, where is your 3bar's ground hook to?

My gm 3bar is pigtail directly off the stock map sensor's wiring.

If you bought your w/b after sept. of 2006 then your w/b should be able to use the 3bar map with you changing the settings to linear instead of non-linear readings...i had the same problem so i sold it and bought me a m-300. that was before they came out with the new style with linear settings.
