ZDYNE users...spark and fuel maps only to 7400rpm...
I just realized that if I ever wanted a high reving B16 swap, my ZDYNE only has maps to 7400 rpm...I can adjust my rev limiter to whatever I want, but what happens to management above 7400 rpm...is there anyone here who has a gold SECU and a high reving B16, what do you do?

Re: ZDYNE users...spark and fuel maps only to 7400rpm... (blackteg)
The secu looks at the last couple of fuel and timing columns and extrapolates for higher rpm's. In over simplified terms this means that if the last column has 10% more fuel than the next lower one then it would add another 10% to the next "virtual" column. I'm sure the process is much more involved in that since its a feature of the stock honda design. Personally, i set the 7400 column super rich to guard against running lean when i over rev.

So you're saying, if you want to rev to 9500...you're covered? I sure do hope you're right. That's alot of mapping that's not accounted for...if I ever do a swap, I'll be sure to give bill a call...it's almost mandatory to rev a b16 or b18c to 8500...
what's your rev limiter set at?
