Default ZC GARETT TO4E/// A.R. .96 QUESTION

What size compressor wheel would I have to use If I wanted less lag on a .96 housing to compensate for the size Via the spool up. To my understanding I could use this bad boy if I used a ? for a compressor wheel, to significantly reduse lag. Hopefully starting at 3000 ending at what ever my trannie will allowand. in the final stages I could boost at an average of 10-20 psi. with an o-ringed block.

???Do You Agree??? Any comments would be greatly apprechieted..

Why would you even think of getting that turbo for a ZC? (it is for a zc, right?) I suggest you look for something smaller. You said 20 psi. A large t3 can handle that.

The price is right and the flow to my understanding would be enormous.
You feel this way because the housing is to big. And the compressor wheel compensation would not work?

I have a BB T3T4B S trim with .63AR on my D16 and it lags a pretty good amount. This is a small T3T4 and it has extensive headwork. Now imagine what what it would be with a T04E in any trim. I have no experience with the larger turbo though. This is why I suggest something smaller.

thanks for the comment now I can do a little more research. This has a PTrim comming off a rotary. 10-13000 rpm deal. But he swears it will be much more efficient will little lag. I understand what you are saying. How much lag doyou deal with. When dose your power start and die . He expplains it as if it wouls start 3/400 and go tiull the trannie pops. Im not an expert, obviously.. But that is where I stand. thanks..
