Z-10 oil catch can...Where to mount it?
I have a 92 hatch with a ls/vtec drag kit. I am trying to find a place to mount the can but I have no room anywhere.
I can not mount it on the firewall b/c the stock fuel filter is there, my 3 bar map sensor, and aeromotive fpr. I tried passenger side where the shock tower is but the way the charge pipe runs it does not fit. I have my msd box mounted up front on the passenger side where the empty space is. Drivers side there is no room either.
Where do you guys mount yours?
I know it has to be at the highest location so the oil drains back down the tube, but the only place I think it will fit is where the black canister is on the passenger side. But then I am not sure if anything will be affected by removing that black canister. The only thing left on there is the vent tube for the fuel tank that goes into the black can.
Any suggestions? Thanks

You could do what I did, move the battery to the trunk to free up some space! Or you could make a custom bracket to place it elsewhere, even on the motor itself is fine.
