You guys use ARP rod and crank bolts?
In the process of pulling my D16Y8 for tear down and some SRP pistons and Eagle rods (they arrive in a couple days). I was wanting to put the motor back together with ARP rod and crank bolts but can't seem to find it on many of the Honda Turbo websites selling parts. My searches always seem to turn up the very common ARP head studs (which I purchased). What are you guys using and where are you getting it?
Thanks
Malcolm

The Eagle rods are usually shipped with ARPs from the factory. As far as the crank bolts, I got mine from a local parts retailer in my area.

Sounds good on the rod bolts. I assume the factory crank bolts are one time use torque to yield and need to be replaced anyways (will have to check my manual when I get home).
Are there any guidelines to using ARP on the main studs Vs factory from guys who have boosted these cars a lot? I always like the added insurance but if I can't find them I may have to grab a new set of stock bolts.

Arp will come with the Eagles as stated above. Stick to OEM on the Main Bolts. ARP doesnt make bolts....They make studs for the mains. And they are no drop in.
They would require a line hone since the tq is much higher on the arp mains. Honestly not needed in youre build. D series blocks have a 5 point main girdle anyways i dont think you would need it at all unless you running some serious horsepower. like 700+ on a d series.

Sweet thanks for the info guys. I don't plan on pushing my build much more than 300 whp for now.
EDIT: I'll just order up some OEM main bolts.
