Default y7/y8 oil pan question

will a y7 pan fit on a y8? im running a turbo y7 and im gonna replace it with a y8 soon and i wanna reuse my oil pan if possible

Yup. y7 and y8 engines are identical except for the head and intake mani.

i have a y7 with a steel pan and a y8 with an aluminum. dont know what that means, expect the y8 pan will keep the oil a good bit cooler, expecially with all the fin type surfaces on it.

anyone else? i know the pans physically look different and are dif part numbers but anyone know for sure
