Wut suspension are you running to put down 350whp or more?
I'm curious as into wut kind of suspesnion everyone is running in here? Reason I'm asking in here, is because it is more related to the guys with a turbo (but move if neccessary)...
Wut is everyone running? What does everyone think is the bare minimum to have as shocks/springs to put this power down? IE. Like is Koni yellows + H&R race springs good enough to put down this kind of power?

I'm running Skunk2 Pro-Series Coilovers. I love them. Removed front sway bar and Progress rear sway bar.

Curious, why did you lose the front sway?
And what kind of power are you making on the street?
I also run koni yellows and groundcontrols, along with a comptec rear sway/tie bar, FR traction bars and skunk2 camber kit.
But most important, QUAIF

a sway bar makes the suspension less independant. taking it off can aid in traction by letting the tires follow the ground, but that applies more to cornering than a flat dap strip. It will also reduce understeer in corners. If all is set up well the sway bars wont be doing much when you go straight so i guess its a good way to lose some weight on a drag car.

No argument with regards to drag cars. But the thick Progress rear bar actually reduces understeer. You didn't say which sway bar you meant (front or rear), but I'd thought I'd clarify before this guy starts thinking that he'll improve his cornering characteristics by ditching the sway bars.

Exactly . And to clarify, he means the front sway bar (or should mean). I've noticed that since removing it, the car corners much better and seems to get better all around traction. I upgraded the stock rear sway bar to the progress one (best one on the market imo) and it made a night and day difference. It completely changes the handling characteristics of the car. If you don't have one, I'd make that your next mod
For the guy that asked, my car is putting down 415whp.

So you are not getting more over steer with the front bar out and that stiff rear in?
I don't know about you guy's but I sure don't want anymore over-steer. My comptech rear sway/tie bar has already giving me more control over the rear (IE: over-steer). I was happy at that point but when I switched out the front Si sway and LCA's for the smaller EX bar and LCA's the over-steer is not to my liking.
So you are saying the over steer is not to overpowering for you? Sure if you are a track guy I can understand but if its a street car I would wanna keep that under-steer.

Re: (White Smoke)
It's a street car. I LOVE the oversteer I get. To me, its much easier to handle oversteer than understeer. To correct oversteer, you just give the car a little more gas. Whereas with understeer, you are just screwed. I hate a car that pushes. FWD Drifts>*
