Default Would this cause low oil pressure?? pic inside

Just out of the blue I had a problem of my oil light coming on. Only time it would come on is after I get on it hard then it would go away. I did a oil change a couple days ago I saw a little of that junk in my oil pan, in the oil filter and now in my vtec solenoid. On cold starts my oil pressure is 75-80, warm up is 30psi but few mins after that it will sit at 10psi. Could it be my bearings? Please help and no smart remarks

That does look like bearings to me.. I would check the bearing in the bottom end to see if any of them are spun, hopefully you caught it in time before anything got messed up..

My buddy had this exact same thing happen to his d-series setup. All 5 mains and all 4 rod-bearings spun shortly after.

STOP driving it and check out yout bottom-end.... better safe than sorry

If it is in fact bearing material then that will explain your low oil pressure. As the bearings get eaten away the clearances enlarge therfore dropping the oil pressure. Tear it down and take a look. You still might be able to save the crank and rods.

Note that also, a drop in oil pressure could cause this problem. Something to keep in mind...

My bet is that you need to tear into it and rebuilt it. Definitely replace the oil pump, because its not worth reusing... especially with this situation.
