Is it worth it to run a equal length manifold on a street car?
As the topic states, would using a equal length manifold be worth it for a street car?
Or would it be wiser to get a inline pro or maxrev manifold.
Setup will consist of LS sleeved block, T04E/T3, hondata,etc..
Looking to run 1 bar daily.
What are most you guys using?
I know with a equal length a/c will be no more. I have heard that they are also prone to cracking.
Any Help

If supported correctly and made correctly an equal length mani shouldnt crack. Get out geoff's equal length...that is a work of art right there. I'm planning on just running an inline pro in the future.

If I decide to get a equal length it would FFgeoff's manifold.
Thanks.. Anyone else?

Does geoff make a streetable manifold? With his you will need a civic style radiator to go with it though.

Wait for the flow numbers from Geoff and then you can decide for yourself.

well due to the large number of requests we will probably be bringing back the ac equal length manifold that is not power steering compatible. for pics look at

Obviously, in my opinion the equal length manifolds will work better. The reason isnt so much the equal length runners but the well defined merge on the collector. There is so much turbulence entering the turbine housing on a normal maxrev or revhard manifold that there are huge gains to be made eliminating this and keeping the flow as laminar as possible.
flow bench numbers are very near...

How soon are before you start making those FFgeoff?
So I take it the manifold will have the needed bracing to avoid cracking?

I want one... Just let me know how much and where to send the funds. Is this one of the better manifolds to use if a/c must be retained? Power steering I'm not too concerned with, but a/c is a definate must -- I'm in TX
