is it worth boosting a d16y7??????
Ok i need to ask some questions.
1.Is the ex head the same as a dx??
2.If so should i just slap a ex IM on the dx head.
3.what ex IM do i get auto or manual,my car is manual.
4.could I put a skunk2 stage 1 camfhaft in the dx head because on there website it said made for ex.
5.could the y7 handle 300hp with low compression piston and a strong rod??
6.IM A NOOB AT TURBO CRAP.
Oh i don't want to deal with vtec to much wires and crap to do.
Just want to do something like an LS and turbo it.
But im doing the the d series way.

Honestly if you can't answer questions 1-5 (6 is not a question) you shouldn't attempt to boost your car, unless of course, you plan on paying a shop to do it.
But by judging by the questions you asked, you are a long way away from installing a cold air intake by yourself, let alone a functional turbo kit.
The best piece of advice i can give you is, save your time and money and research. By simply using the search button in the upper right-hand corner all the information you could ever need is only a couple clicks away.
Oh and if "wiring" up vtec is to difficult for you...then boosting your car will be a nightmare. Do some research before you get in over your head.

Re: (90sedan)
i know how to do the wiring its just the hassle to do it.
I just need a quick question then.
Is the dx and ex head the same??
If not could i just slap the ex head straight on the y7 block???
oh the shop is going to do a custom turbo.
