Wiring up NTK AFX Wideband Controller & Using with S300
Honestly guys, I feel kinda stupid asking this....but what's the procedure for wiring up this wideband controller kit and routing this input into my S300 for datalogging?
I read the Manual in the AFX kit, but it really didn't tell me much. Any help would be appreciated. BTW, this kit that I have has the NTK sensor in it, not the Bosch if it matters at all.

there are 2 analog outputs on the AFX wideband. i belive the colors are yellow and brown. one is a 0-1v and the other is 0-5v

So, which wire/pin do I connect these to at the ECU?

you have to get your manual out for the s300, one is narrow band, the other is wideband.
according to turbodav, the yel would hook into the pin location where the stock 02 sensor goes, and you should have extra 0-5v inputs for logging purposes, which shouldnt be hard to find by looking through the s300 manual or pinout, if there is such a thing

LOL...IS there a MANUAL for the S300? If there is, I'd love to see one!

im not sure if your being sarcastic but daveF said ..."if there is one." im not sure why that was quote worthy but w/e .
anyways OP just look at your ECU pinout

Wasn't being sarcastic. I was honestly wondering if there was a manual.

i figured any aftermarket ecu/management should come with some sort of literature ? perhaps not ?
i have never used hondata, and probably never will.

I can't find anywhere I can input the Voltage translation. I assume I select "Custom" and input the voltage and corresponding values...but I can't find anywhere to do that. I'm friggin lost!

Re: Wiring up NTK AFX Wideband Controller & Using with S300 (C_Rock77)
do you have the newest version of s300?
under closed loop there is a voltage offset box and three boxes, should read 0v 5v 5v. in your ntk afx there should be a voltage to afr or lamda conversion ie 0v=10 5v =20. or something close to that.
after inputing the #'s then if the afr is still off a bit you have to experiement with the voltage offset to get the readings to correspond. its a pita to get them dead on.
the pin you use to input the signal is up to you. if you dont plan on running closed loop you can use d14(original o2 signal) if you want to run closed loop then you must use d10(eld) b12 or b6 for the wideband signal and keep your stock o2 wired up.
this is the way i understand it, i am new to the s300 as well, and i have fought with getting the o2 to match up correctly. if there's something i missed let me know

0v=9AFR
5V=16AFR
D14 Input can only read a max of 3.86v which is low 14AFRs is were it will max out at. Which sucks
D10 Input on USDM ecu's needs R136 and R138 resistors removed to read low voltages while running, but once removed works great. If you do not remove the resistors it will not read below around 12.05 AFRs running.
The other inputs need to be pinned, I have not tested them and will shortly.
Yellow wire is your 0-5v out
Brown Wire is Ground, not 0-1v
I called NGK and confirmed this. I just installed a powerdex's on 2 shop cars running ectune pro and ran into all this within the last week.
If you need any help just let me know.
Here is a link of users using hondata and the various inputs. http://www.hondata.net/forum/v...0ea9a
