windshield washer tank?on the way what do u guys do?
hi
my windshield washer tank is on the way I'am doing my intercooling pipe and I would like to know what do u guys do in this situation should i remove it and I do so were can I place it or if I should go around it --- if I do this i will have to extend the pipes and they will be off the bumper
btw this is in a 92-95 civic hb
thanks so much

I took mine out. I think I'm going to cut it in half and melt it back together so I have room to put it back in.

I think most people remove them, but if this is a daily driver that may not be the best solution.

Yeah, I went retarded with my IC piping. I have a TD04 14G that uses a J coming off of the compressor side. I took the piping from that J pipe all the way to the hole where my WS resivoir was, droped it down the hole, looped it to the intercooler, and then up and around to the throttle body. I made a U piece to come off of the J so I can set **** up right, but between the rain, my dull hacksaw, and my busy power-tool-weilding friend I haven't had a chance to redo it.
Now I've got an uber super shitty oil leak. 6000PSI RUBBER TUBING FROM NAPA DOES NOT MAKE A GOOD OIL FEED COMING FROM THE OIL FILTER!

I found a spot to mount it on the firewall. The auto part stores have some small rectangular ones that can be squeezed in sometimes.

My friend kept his reservoir. He notched the holes on the tank so he could slide the tank up as much as possible and ran the ic pipe under it. It looks like it hangs to low but it doesn't. With the bumper on you couldn't see the pipe, this is the only pic i have of it.

I just went under mine. I didn't want to get rid of it because this is my only car.
I made the pipes so they fit really tight up against the resevoir though, and they don't hang down below the bumper at all.
The only thing that sucks is I had to hack up my bumper in order to get it to fit. I could have done a better job fitting the pipes but I'm not much of a fabricator.
Here's how my bumper is cut:
You can see the pipe on the driver's side angles down to go under the washer fluid.

lol, there are many battery relocation kits, now maybe it's time for windshield washer relocation kits?
What about putting it into the trunk? Get some plastic box, reuse the pump somehow, or find a crappy inline pump for it. Ok, you have to route the washer line to the front, but it's better for the mass distribution.
How do u like the idea?
sry for my crappy english, but i guess you got it.

If you relocate the battery, why not place the tank where the battery once sat? You could even make a cover so the plastic dosent make your engine bay look like ***. My .02...

I'm moving mine to the inside of the car. In Japan we have to have the washer fluid bottle to pass the bi-yearly inspection and it would SUCK to not have one.
I will be using the line for the rear sprayer and the rear bottle from an FD3S RX7 will be placed somewhere in the left quarter panel. Running the lines should be pretty easy.
