Just asking becuase my friend gave up on his B18 and selling his brand new Arias 9.8:1 .202 overs for $400 with pins and rings. would they fit in my motor or is the stroke diff?and need a diff lenght rod?

The pistons will fit your motor as long as your bore size is the same. You will have to bore your cylinders +.020" if the pistons are +.020". The rod length and stroke have nothing to do with the piston.

However, if the pistons create a 9.8:1 C/R on his B18B it will create a different C/R on your motor due to the different cylinder heads. You will need to find out the dome volume of the pistons to figure out the compression ratio it will create using your head.

if im not mistaken, the compression will drop from about 9.8:1 to arond 9.6:1

Which B18? C1, A, B/? I thought you were sleeving to 84mm?

they are from a b18b. or b18a, i forget it was one of our old motors we had in a crx, and spun a bearing in it, my friend was gonna build it , but thne gave up becuas ehe picked up a new b16 so the pistons are sitting around

After checking Arias site for the Dome displacement. According to C-speedracing compression calculator in a B18C5 those pistons would make the compression 9.4:1 considering you use standard rods for the B18C5.
