Should be fine provided the plate and flywheel are not too grooved. Could always just do a mild upgrade, it's not a big deal.

i would never use a stock pp...2 of my friends tried that and once the pp broke and messup up the tranny ...flywheel , and even the starter a lil...and the other one broke and stoped the motor from turning...and cams kept turning ...the timing jumped and BOOM! droped a valve. The block and head were no good afterwords.

How old were the plates?

AFAIK the ACT HD plate is just a rebadged stock ITR plate... that's all I'm using (HD).

Do it right and get the ACT extreme pressure plate, or atleast get the ACT heavy duty, you should'nt be running a stock one. Your just asking the clutch to slip, and plus the stock pressure plate is meant for a 160 flywheel hp honda, not 300+. It will save you a headache later.
