depends on track conditions/clutch/tire pressure mostly. with my clutchmasters i never broke an axle last year. the tires were only 8" wide but a friend of mine used the 9" ones and didn't break either. what clutch do you have??

i launched at 8000rpms with 8 psi in each tire running 19 lbs of boost over a 100 times last year. i never broke one axle or diff. only lost 2 gears the whole year.
another guy i know used to use the rps clutches. probably not as forgiving as a clutchmasters but still should be fine. use 9psi in your tires if your scared. launch at like 7500 and see if you spin. probably not. you could launch at like 8000 without a 2step. i don't think you'll build too much boost on the line.
