will the HKS B series T25 manifold work with eclipse turbo??
I thought this manifold would work for with the Eclipse turbos, but after reading this post I am unsure. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=369463

I already have a t25 from a 1998 Eclipse and so far this is the only b series manifold I have been able to find. If anynody knows I would appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

Would you explain. It may sound like a bad idea to you, but I got the turbo for free and figured I would at least see if it is possible before slanging it. If its not possible or a good Idea, how much do you think I could get for the turbo, injectors and side mount intercooler.

It is %100 possible to use that turbo. easy to do in fact.
it's a bad idea because that turbo is very undersized for a b18 or b16. It doesn't even feel that great on a D16. It will spool very quickly, make not much power then fall on it's face a couple thousand rpm before redline. If this is a vtec B series it will suck even more.
this is, of course, my opinion. I have installed turbos on hondas that were too big and ones that were too small. It does depend what you want, but I can't imagine anyone wanting what this will do. Save yourself the trouble and get something bigger

That helps me a lot, thanks for your input. It sounds like I would be a lot happier if I just got rid of the t25 and bought something a little bit bigger.

what kind of motor you running? i had that turbo on a ls with a drilled hf/adapter plate set up and it was a pretty fun set up...at 15 psi it was running 8.2s in the 1/8th mile in a hatch. not the best turbo but if its all you got its good enough....

I have a mostly stock LS integra. Regardless of what turbo I get I will be running greddy SAFCII, an intercooler, type S BOV and some ohter stuff.

stock DSM T25 turbos will not work with HKS manifolds. the T25 flange is clocked differently than the garrett t25 flanges. it's possible with a STD manifold with an adapter plate.

clocked? What you said makes no sense. The problem is that the DSM t25 has a square pattern with a circular turbine inlet and the standard t25 looks like this

just do what i did, take a cheap junk chikara header, get some flanges from rre, get a dummy block (we used a blown b16 w/ a b18a head that dropped a valve) and fab it up. me and my buddy built one and it works. sure it is no full race or love fab, but it directs exhaust flow into the turbine housing. im also using a big16g with this. imagine that. for those of u who say its to small. this turbo boosted over 18 psi making 357 whp on a 2.0 dohc 4g63 (mitsubishi turbo engine) and it reved to 7500 rpm without falling on its face. now u tell me how a engine with .2 litres less displacement and a head that doesnt flow as much as my head did, could possibly not make decent power from this turbo. answers anyone?

It is not a 4g63 OR a 16g we are talking about. Just because a stock 1.8t VW turbo puts down 2XXwhp you woulden't want that on a honda motor either, IMO.

whatever, pretend they turned the boost up or got a real manifold.
All i'm saying is that a turbo that people 'deal with' because it came on their car is not always a good one to upgrade completely different motor with. Maybe Drew Down should try his T25. He might like it, I know I woulden't thats all i'm spraying

problem is most of those T28 and T25 are more expensive and you can get a good T3 with the same amount of money. I've already went that route as well also and decided to go the T3 route

I have a t-25 on my talon (stock turbo). It will reach full boost around 2400 rpms in any gears (even first) but it drops to 12 after 5000-5300. If you put it on a b-series and run about 9lbs, it wont be worth it. I would sell it and try to keep away from mitsubichi turbos and they are very pricey compared to a garret style turbo.

you might wnan hit up deluzional here on HT, i made a log style manifold with dsm t25 for him. hes been runnin on it for about a year now. ive test driven it and have concluded that this turbo woudl do GREAT for an auto X set up. very linear pull 1st gears kinda crazy. 2nds good too but 3rd falls flat on its face.
8 psi it made 190 WHP on the afc hack set up.
the Hks manifold will NOT work with a dsm t25 cuz the dsm turbos use a diffrent housing, you're better off pickin up a nissan t25 off ebay. if you want an awsome turbo that will botl right up to that manifold n work pretty well. get a disco potatoe.
tony the tiger here is runnin the hks manifold with the GT28RS and has great results.

what do you mean it doesn't make any sense? The DSM T25 turbine housing flange is clocked ...situtated.....differently than a Garrett T25/28
