Will this exhaust be nasty loud?????
Setup is a 1.5 sohc with a t3.
Im in the process of making a 3 inch downpipe. And gonna order the 3 inch mandral bent del sol piping kit, a 22 inch resonator, and a magnaflow turbo muffler. I wont be running a cat...Just the 22 inch resonator, maybe two of them if its loud.
Will this be nasty loud? Anyone have similiar setup on sohc? soundclips maybe?

That's what I am running but I need to hook up the DP to the exhaust still. I'll let you know how loud it is once I do that. When I was N/A it wasn't that bad...

everyone on here says 3" isn't that loud......but I'd have to disagree......it's fucken loud.....turbo muffles some of it...but not that much......good luck with your setup

hmmm...the resonator im gonna use is 22 inches long....maybe if its loud i can put two of those in a row...

here is a pic of my setup and it is pretty damn loud. But in all honesty if you have to drive the car everyday, which i don't, then id do the best flowing exhaust possible for a turbo application.

Good idea if they will fit. The system for my ITR has two resonators, but they are not hooked together. One is back by the fuel tank.

Well I got it hooked up tonight. It's really fricken quiet to be honest... Thermal 3" with 22" 3" resonator.

none, i have a similar setup with the t3, no resonator it's loud when it's WOT but underboost it's okay loud.

every turbo car that Ive had has never been loud. All have either had straight 3 inch dumps or 3 inch exhausts. Maybe Im just used to straight 2.5inch pipe on LSVtec? I know....Im fuking deaf...

I am getting my stock exhaust/cat swapped out for a no-cat 3" system with a Flowmater Deltaflow 40 muffler on Monday. I will let you know how it sounds. If it is loud I don't really care, there are a lot of loud *** trucks and V8's around here. It would be funny to be mistaken for one of those before someone sees me!

im running 3 inch and a high flow cat to a straight through magnaflow muffler. Its way more quite then when i was N/A. the tone change. it got deeper and no more raspy sounding. driving around town is quite but when i get on it it fucken screams.

Im running 2.25" pipe, i still have stock cat but no resonator, all leading to an A'Pexi N1. This setup is ******* LOUD AS ****, what can i do to calm it down.

my turbo car sounds no where near as loud as my n/a car (2.5" straight pipe)
i have 3" dp, 3" cat, 3" pipping then go 5zigen fireball turbomuffler..sounds like stock if you ask me
