Will 60mm gauges fit in a 52mm pod? Can it be bored out? [defi mounting]
I got some defi's on the way and im trying to figure out how to mount them. I have yet to see a LHD 60mm a pillar pod (but i did see a RHD 60mm!). I know I can get the band-mounts but i would rather not.
I have a 3 gauge 52mm pod right now. Will 60mm fit in there? Can it be bored out to fit a 60mm? Anyone ever tried this?
Thanks for any help

doglyn...use a measuring device and see if the pod has enough space to bore the holes out to fit the guages.....if the hole is 52mm, a 60mm guage will not fit in there!!!!!!!!

yes you can bore out the 52mm. I do not speak from experience, but I have seen it done.
Be very careful though, when you are done boring it to 60mm there isnt much material left near the edge. I would reccomend drawing the 60mm circle on there first for a guide
