ummm I don't know off hand about the dying when you connect. As for the bucking, I can almost say 100% that you part throttle has not been tuned has it? If not, then that is definitely it. The bucking is usually really lean spots. The basemaps are terrible for part throttle and there is basically always bucking in between thsoe RPMs. And generally around 10" of vaccum is the worst I have found.

i thought this problem was fixed a long time ago by the updated software they came out with?

so your just playing around with the timing w/o any way to justify it? I wouldn't just change the base timing, because it throws off your ENTIRE tune then.....could lead to a failed motor.
And is the bucking at all throttle positions? I used to have bucking issues at 0psi, and 0 vaccuum....turned out it was the 02 sensor was fuckeD

Re: (importboi22)
get the dataloging on there and check the sensor readings...it sounds like a tps or fuel tuning problem .... It can also be bad plugs or a bad distributor

its not the EMS man...its your tune. Trust me go get it street tuned by a reputable tuner. Every person that comes to the shop has the exact same problem with bucking. Simply put, Hondata basemaps suck in vaccum. They are way way way lean in spots in vaccum (usually high vaccum, but everywhere in vaccum). This is what causes the bucking. Get that fixed and report back...I'd be willing to put money down that the bucking will go away.
Also check to make sure the red light on the S200 (blue box) is solid before you try doing anything...is it solid?

it is solid but when you try connecting the datalogger or anything else for it to tune the hondata will not connect and the car dies!
