Default Wierd vaccum after BOV install?

I got my blitz DD bov installed today and afterwards i was driving and noticed at idle my vaccum was -20 which is normal but when i gave it some gas and it went to like 0 vaccum it'd drop down PAST -20 to like -23ish. Also when i hit boost and let off it would drop past -20 vaccum also. And lastly when i first started my car after connecting the vaccum lines for the BOV my car idled kind of rough a couple of times for 2-3 seconds, it kind of shook like it was going to die but then was fine. Any ideas on why this is going on? Also my car seems to take longer to rev up in 2nd, it just feels a bit slower in general after the bov.

did you set the BOV to the proper PSI...maybe you have it set too low.

Have you checked the vacuum lines to see if they are connected properly, and there are no kinks or cuts/holes?

my car sometimes dips down to about 22 inHG,then back up to 20...but, sometimes it also sits at ~22in HG...and everything runs fine...your BOV was letting air into the manifold it would have lower vacuum. What is your fuel set-up? sometimes when the weather changes drastically my car decides to idle rough or not at all...it's running rich as hell at those points...

When you let off were you still in gear? If you were it is supposed to drop past your idle vacuum. Your motor will 'catch' itself before returning to idle vacuum.
As long as its blowing off then what you are saying sounds normal.
