Re: Wide Band Fuel Mixture Display Oz DIY-WB HELP (BLKCRX)
Answer to #1: Yellow to pin 6(-), and Orange to pin 7 (+). Pins 4 and 5 will be empty
Answer to #2: If you gotten the RS232 upgrade on the 5300 display, you would have 2 wires coming out from the display, this is where you connect to your engine oxygen sensor. Ground wire from the RS232 connect to the wht/red of the oxygen sensor of the ECU, and the output wire from the RS232 connect to the grn/blu of the oxygen sensor of the ECU. The other 2 wires org/blk and yel/blk woudl have a 1k ohm resistor connected.
Answer to #3 I got the assembled 5300 with the RS232 upgrade.
I hope that helps. Honestly I haven't installed mine yet but that is the understanding that I have gotten from the site.

Pins 4-5 will be connected to the sensor connector. It doesn't matter which one, its a resistor in the connector.

Re: Wide Band Fuel Mixture Display Oz DIY-WB HELP (LsTurbo91)
Ok.. question 1 is all sorted ! ( i hope ) as long as it doesn’t matter which way the wires go around ( pins 4 and 5 )
Question 2.. still got a few questions...
I now assume the wideband o2 sensor totally replaces the stock sensor.. ? yeah (or am I wrong )
So the old heater wires from the stock sensor A25 (12v+) and A6 (heater ground) basically get disconnected, from the stock sensor, and a resistor is wired between the two pins so the ecu doesn’t cause a error? (Correct. or am I wrong)
While pins D22 and D14 (off the Honda ECU ) get disconnected from the stock sensor and connected TE 5300 Display, as per the RS232 wiring diagram off tech edge. Yeah ???
( Te 5300 Out put )

I think that’s about it…iv stile got a bit of a problem with these variable resistors, but a mate of mine might be able to help work out which one is which.
Then all I have to do is calibrate this thing.. And cross my fingers for it to work.
Lets hope all this work pays off, saving me buying the motec PLM

and does the display out put effect the RS232 out put ??
