wich rods would you go with?? please help
Got a boosted teg, have eagle rods with arp bolts, but the car will probly see hp near 600. And I'm worried about the rods I have in there. But don't wanna spend 700 for the turbo tuff. Cuz my car won't see 1000 or even close. Basicly what I'm saying is, eagles are at like the bottom of the forged pistons, what's in the middle for decent price.

I don't really see an issue with the eagles at 600 as long as you have the 3/8" bolts. Other options include brian crower rods which a lot of people have good success with and also the manley H beams which are barely more expensive than the eagles, but much nicer.

I see, I don't know a whole lot. Just thought cuz I'm running 10;1 plus boost..... that their would be a higher load put onto the rods

I wouldn't buy another set of rods if you weren't going to go with some Manley turbo tuff's or Pauters / carillo's. Pretty much what I'm saying is, theres no point if buying another set of Hbeams when the eagles you got will do the job just fine at 600whp.

eagles should be fine. If they have an issue, thats when I would go bigger.

yup. revs have more to do with it.
i have seen eagles with 5/16ths survive at or close to 600.
my con rod exp may not fit your budget. crower billets i had back in 01, they survived 3 of my engines, and are in a 4th.
now im using carrillo super a's not the billets. but the super a's. beating the **** out of them as well. sfsg.

I personally ran Manley turbo tuff rods... I've had some friends with the 3/8th eagles where the bolts started to stretch around 550ish and pounded out a few bearings.
the only choices I ever consider are manley, pauter, and crower
