why is my car boosting passed boost cut?
my boost cut is set a 1bar and ive been driving on it for a while now so i know how hard it pulls, but lately (hot or cold) its been pulling much harder than usual, i was lucky and got one of the non defected autometer boost gauge, i did a couple of third gear pulls and it was reading 17-18psi?? weird thing is im running strait wastegate with a .9bar spring
only thing i can think of is my dp might be a little loose, my freind broke my vband flange, but still its on there pretty snugly.
any help would be great

it would be helpful to know engine setup and fuel managment.
it you car is stock it wont last much longer with 17psi on a 3rd geer pull.

fyi, the term 'boost cut' pertains to the ECU and its pressure sensor - sensing pressure that is higher than the setpoint, it then pulls fuel and, or spark. The wastegate has nothing to do with boost cut.
