Default why do people use check valves when you can just...

tap into the vaccum line off the tps sensor that goes to the black box. the tps sensor is the little <=> shaped thing with the cylinder on top on the right back of the intake manifold. rofl worst diagram ever. anyway... the line that goes off this never will read boost it always reads vaccum ... couldnt you just run your map sensor inline to this line?

if im completely wrong lmk

I dont have a clue what your talking about, but id say your wrong.
The TPS is the throttle position sensor, and does not have any vacuum lines to it.

A. i think you're talking about the idle air control valve, not the TPS. there is no vaccuum involved with the TPS, only throttle plate angle.

B. doesn't matter where the vaccuum source comes from, when that throttle plate is open, the whole system post compressor sees boost.

im telling you right now that the line from this device never sees boost for whatever reason... we put a boost gauge on it and it wouldnt read boost, just vaccum. when boosting itd read 0

He's talking about the line that runs from the throttlebody to the charcoal cannister. Yes, the evap/purge line. That's all I know.

hes talking about the PCV valve on the back of the block it does have a check valve in it, and it owuld work, but its a pain to get to w/out removing the intake manifold. Might as well have them tee off the brake booster line after the check valve, much easier.
